The Salvation Army Sudbury - New Life Centre
Delivering Hope and Support to People in Need Everyday
In Sudbury, as is the case elsewhere, hard times and other unfortunate circumstances
result in a prevalence of individuals and families in crisis, the marginalized
and overlooked people in the community.
The Salvation Army Sudbury - New Life Centre offers assistance to all regardless of race, religion, or gender.
The centre provides shelter, security, support and the basic needs of life
for homeless men, women, and families, as well as a residential recovery program
for men who have lost control of their lives due to addiction.
The Salvation Army Sudbury - New Life Centre is often a significant first step
to independence and community reintegration.
With the generous support of the community, and tireless dedication of staff
and volunteers, The Salvation Army Sudbury is dedicated to providing the essential
material needs for life, shelter and the spiritual support required to help
these individuals and families get back on their feet.
The Salvation Army New Life Centre is a caring
ministry serving the needs of a diverse population within our community.
The Centre is operated on Christian principles; dedicated to the service
of God and humanity.
We recognize that each individual is unique, possessing emotional, social,
physical and spiritual dimensions.
The Centre seeks to address the basic needs of each individual by providing
food, shelter, clothing, counseling, pastoral care and referral to other
programs and agencies.
Men come to us in crisis, and leave with the
skills and knowledge and the courage to realize their full capacity as
citizens within the community.
